-- Here's how create a New File:
[1] First you have to Type in what you want to name the file
[IMPORTANT NOTE 1] When typing in a new file name, the mouse pointer MUST be touching the 'Edit Box' or you can't type anything in. And when you're not Creating a New File, try to keep the mouse pointer away from the 'Edit Box' so you don't accidentally type in someting.
[IMPORTANT NOTE 2] You MUST always put a .3ed file extension after the name, or you will not be able to Load levels from the file. (This program only reads and writes to files with a .3ed extension)
[2] After you've named the file, click on the 'LOAD' button and the level will load (It will be a Blank level)
(you should put the Level # to 1 before you Load, so you can edit the 1st level)
[3] After the level is finished loading, you can then Edit it, and then Save it.
After you Save the level to the file, click on the 'New/Clear' button and your new file will be selectable from the Drop-Down menu

HOW TO EDIT A LEVEL
-- FIRST OF ALL, YOU MUST LOAD A LEVEL, IN ORDER TO EDIT IT

-- To edit a level you use the 'Curser' and the 'Pad Bar' on the right of the screen

-- Use the Arrow Keys to move the Curser around the play area

Wall Blank Start Point Scrambler Pad Pad Pad Pad Pad Pad Arrow Arrow Arrow Arrow Warp 1 [cyan] Warp 2 [cyan] Warp 1 [green] Warp 2 [green] Warp 1 [red] Warp 2 [red]
-- This is the Pad Bar, use this bar to place an object into the play area. Here's what the 'icons' represent:
---- 'WALL' - Used to place a Wall in the play area. [In Cubed, Walls are used to Stop the Cube]

---- 'BLANK' - Used to 'Erase' an object in the play area. [You can use this to 'erase' an object and make it a 'Blank' space. You can also put a Pad over another Pad, for example, if you have a 'Colored' Pad but you want a 'Wall' in it's place, just move the Curser onto the 'Colored' Pad and then click on the 'Wall' icon]

---- 'START POINT' - Used to place a Start Point in the play area. [In Cubed, a Start Point is where the Cube starts. You can only have 1 Start Point in a level, if you put more that one in a level, Cubed will Load the 'Start Point' that's closest to the bottom of the level. If you don't put a Start Point into a level and you 'Activate the Level', Cubed will tell you that there's no Start Point and Quit to the Main Menu]

---- 'SCRAMBLER' - Used to place a Scrambler in the play area. [In Cubed, Scramble Padz will randomly 'Scramble' the Cube until you flip off the Scramble Pad]

---- '6 COLORED PADZ' - Used to place Padz in the play area. [In Cubed, the Colored Padz are what you have to get rid of with the Cube. You have to have at least 1 Colored Pad in each level, or Cubed will go to the next level]

---- '4 ARROW PADZ' - Used to place Arrow Padz in the play area. [In Cubed, when the Cube lands on an Arrow Pad, it can only move in the direction that the arrow is pointing to. Try not to put 2 Arrow Padz pointing into each other, or the Cube will get Stuck, and you will have to Reset the level]

---- '6 WARP PADZ' - Used to place Warp Padz in the play area.[There are 3 sets of Warp Padz (cyan, green, and red) with the # 1 or 2 on them. Place #1 somewhere in the Play area and then #2 (of the same color) in another area and the Cube will Warp to and from the Padz when you land on them (in Cubed)]

-- To place an object in the play area, just position the curser in the play area and then Click on an 'icon' in the Pad Bar with the left mouse button and the object will appear where the Curser's at in the play area. [For example, if you wanted a Wall, move the Curser to the position in the play area that you want the Wall at and then Click on the Wall icon on the Pad Bar, and a Wall will appear at the curser's position]

CONTROLLING THE CUBE
-- If you want to make a 'Moves' level then you can use the Cube to help you with the placenent of the Colored Padz.

-- After you've created the level, Don't forget to Put a Wall at the top of the Level to 'ACTIVATE' it. (If you don't put a wall there, 'Cubed' will not load the level, and it will go directly to the Completion screen)

HELPFUL HINTS
-- Remember to put a 'Wall' at the top of the screen to 'ACTIVATE THE LEVEL', if you don't, Cubed will think that it's the last level and will go directly to the 'Completion Screen'

-- It's a good idea to make your level(s) and then test them, just in case you made a mistake, like placing a Wall in the wrong place, preventing the Cube from finishing the level

-- Remember that when 'Typing in a New Filename', the mouse pointer MUST be somewhere in the 'Edit Box' or you will not be able to type anything in

-- Remember that you CAN'T Edit a level until you LOAD one first

-- Once you Load a level, you can't load another one unless you Click on the 'New/Clear' button or press 'ESC'
